This Privacy Policy outlines how Runify ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal data when you use the Runify mobile application and website (collectively, the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

When you sign up or interact with Runify, we may collect:

• Subscription status (e.g., free vs. premium)

b. Activity and Usage Data

We collect anonymized and user-linked data to operate core features:

• Run distance, pace, time, and personal records
• Rank and level progression
• Device type, OS, and app performance (for diagnostics)

c. Health & Fitness Data (via Garmin)

If you choose to connect your Garmin account, and authorize the Garmin Health API, we may collect:

• Activity data (run duration, pace, distance)
• GPS location during activity
• Heart rate during sessions

This data is used strictly for in-app tracking, ranking, and user feedback. No health data is accessed without explicit user consent.

d. Location Data (Optional)

With permission, we use GPS location to:

• Track outdoor runs
• Display maps and route history

You can disable location tracking at any time through your device settings.

e. Device Permissions

Depending on your interactions, the App may request access to:

• Location: for run tracking
• Motion & Fitness: for step/activity recognition
• Notifications: to deliver reminders and streak updates

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected data to:

• Provide core features such as run tracking, streaks, and ranking systems
• Display your performance history and metrics
• Sync data from third-party fitness services (like Garmin)
• Deliver personalized content, reminders, and motivational prompts
• Improve the functionality, performance, and user experience of the App

3. Sharing of Data

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share limited data in the following cases:

a. With Your Consent

Only when you explicitly authorize, e.g., Garmin or social media sharing.

b. With Service Providers

We may use third-party services (e.g., Firebase, RevenueCat) to:

7. Payments & Subscriptions

All in-app purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not store or access your payment information.

• RevenueCat (to manage subscriptions)
• Crashlytics (for diagnostics)
